What the French Ministry of Culture records
Château du 15e siècle, remanié aux 18e et 19e siècles. Bâti sur le flanc d'une butte et entouré de divers bâtiments agricoles ordonnés autour d'une cour close, l'édifice se compose d'un corps de logis quadrangulaire flanqué par une tour ronde d'escalier demi hors-oeuvre au sud, et d'une tour circulaire hors-oeuvre à l'angle nord-est. Les façades sud et Est conservent quelques meurtrières et deux fenêtres à croisées de pierre. Destruction des cheminées médiévales au 19e siècle. Ce château est un exemple caractéristique de petit manoir bourbonnais à vocation rurale. Salle d'exposition à l'intérieur du château.
