Your château on Chateaupedia

Your entry already exists and it is free. You can correct it yourself today. The Pro subscription only adds what helps you fill your visits.

Free entry

€0, forever

What every château gets, without asking and without paying.

  • A published entry, with your hours, prices and access.
  • One-minute corrections from your own space, no password.
  • A direct link to your ticketing, with no commission taken by us.
  • Your verification date on show: visitors know it is current.
  • Your events picked up automatically from the Ministry’s programme.
  • The same ranking as everyone else: we demote nobody.

Indicative price, not on sale yet. No commitment when it opens.

Placement

Departmental feature

€39 per month

Your château at the top of its department’s page and calendar, in a clearly labelled box. 3 places per department, no more — and never at the cost of demoting anyone.

  • At the top of the department page and its calendar.
  • A box marked as a feature, not a rank you bought.
  • Visible during the Heritage Days too, when the crowds are there.
  • Monthly, cancellable monthly.

Ask for a place

What Pro adds, it never takes away from the free entry. A free entry stays complete, correctable and ranked the same. A heritage directory that sold placement would lose in a month the trust that is its only asset.

Frequently asked questions

My entry exists without my asking. Why?
We list châteaux from public sources: Wikidata, the French Ministry of Culture’s Mérimée database and OpenStreetMap. It is encyclopedic work, like a printed guide. You can claim it to correct it, or ask for its removal.
Does paying push me up the results?
No. Ranking depends on actual visitor numbers and on how complete the information is, never on the subscription. A well-documented free château comes ahead of a Pro one that is not.
Do you take a commission on my tickets?
No. The booking button points to your own ticketing and you keep everything. We earn a commission only when a visitor goes through a partner platform, and the link is marked as such.
Can I try, then stop?
Yes, with no commitment and no notice. Your entry becomes free again and stays online: we neither degrade nor remove it.
How do you prove I run this château?
Through your email address. An address on the official website’s domain opens access immediately; any other goes through a human check, within one working day.
