What the French Ministry of Culture records

Edifice médiéval développant à l'origine un plan carré fermé par une enceinte flanquée de tours. Au 17e siècle, la courtine sud fut abattue, ouvrant sur une cour d'honneur sur laquelle fut élevée une façade ordonnancée, accostée de deux tourelles couvertes à l'impériale. Au 18e siècle, création d'un jardin en terrasse dans la perspective de cette façade ainsi que des décors intérieurs (stucs et boiseries). Edification des communs à l'ouest (forge, écurie, remise, étable...).
