Château du Pin, in Champtocé-sur-Loire, combines a 15th century main building with 18th century additions in a neo-gothic spirit, later reworked in the mid-19th century while keeping its original vaulted entrance hall and spiral staircase. Around the house, gardens laid out in the 1920s feature an unusual topiary display, with over a hundred yew trees shaped across several themed terraces. An early 18th century chapel with a Plantagenet-style vault forms part of the estate but is not currently open to visitors.
