What the French Ministry of Culture records

Vers 1580, Pierre Catemisse, capitaire au château de Carlux, se fit construire une maison d'habitation et des dépendances, colombier, jardin, vergers... Edifice trapu présentant deux grosses tours rondes sur sa façade nord. Le corps de logis principal présente un enchevêtrement de toitures d'où s'élance un clocheton avec sa girouette. Le 19e siècle a laissé des traces apparentes, en particulier sur les deux tours et le second corps de bâtiment. A l'intérieur, un escalier à deux volées droites permet l'accès aux différents étages. Deux cheminées ont été conservées dans la salle à manger et le salon.
