Les bâtiments du château forment un quadrilatère autour d'une vaste cour. L'essentiel de l'édifice remonte aux 16e et 17e siècles. Une partie du décor de cette dernière période est conservé : fresques de la chapelle, cheminées du corps de logis principal, beaux vestiges d'un ensemble de fresques formant un cycle dédié à la chasse.
