What the French Ministry of Culture records
Château construit en 1863-1865 par l'architecte Louis-Michel Garros. Deux tours rondes et une chapelle flanquent un édifice rectangulaire de style éclectique mêlant néo-Renaissance, néo-gothique et style Louis XVI. Décor intérieur caractéristique du Second Empire, partiellement inspiré du 18e siècle. La chapelle néo-gothique contient un décor d'Auger et Millet de 1863, et des vitraux de Villiers de 1867. Le dessin du parc est sans doute dû aux frères Bulher, dont le style se retrouve avec le thème du cercle, des allées courbes, des alternances de pelouses et de masses boisées. Potager excentré.
