What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief est tenu dès 1205 du roi d'Angleterre par Jean de la Salle, mais les soubassements de l'édifice ne sont pas antérieurs au 14e siècle. En 1479, le manoir est probablement en ruine. Après la destruction, au cours du 19e siècle, des dépendances et éléments défensifs, il subsiste de cette maison forte le logis, particulièrement caractéristique du type régional des manoirs fin 15e et début 16e siècle : un bâtiment principal flanqué d'une tour polygonale abritant l'escalier à vis. Côté sud-ouest, la porte se trouve dans un petit pavillon accolé à la façade. Deux ailes prolongent les extrémités du logis. L'aile sud-est date du 19e siècle ; celle du nord-ouest remonte au 16e-17e siècle.
