The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 13th century, 15th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Château de Lissac stands in Lissac-sur-Couze, in the Corrèze department, on the heights above the Causse lake. Its L-shaped main building, dating from the 15th century, still has a corner turret at the north-east angle and an interior layout that retains features from the 15th and 17th centuries. Inside, a drawing room with 18th-century wood panelling and, upstairs, a vaulted room with ribbed arches reflect the different building phases of the house. Listed as a historic monument, the château is now privately owned and run as guest accommodation rather than opened for standard heritage tours.
