The Château de Lantis stands in ruins at the hamlet of la Trémolède, in the commune of Dégagnac in the Lot département, between Cahors, Sarlat and Rocamadour. What remains today, a rectangular main building flanked by two turrets and a grand staircase topped with a triangular pediment, reflects a residence reworked in the 17th century on a much older fortified site. The building has lost its roof but retains decorative rusticated stonework around the windows and main doorway, rare traces of rural architecture in the Quercy region.

The château is in ruins, without a roof, which limits what can be seen to facade elements and the staircase.
