Château de Chambert stands in Floressas (Lot), in the Occitanie region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
On the limestone plateaus of the Quercy region, the Château de Chambert overlooks a wine estate whose vines were already recorded on this land in 1100. The current building was erected in 1873 in a neo-medieval style influenced by Viollet-le-Duc, built upon the foundations of a small 16th-century fortified château that had replaced an earlier fortified farmstead. Largely destroyed by fire in 1886 and rebuilt around its surviving central section, it gained two additional round towers in the 1980s. The estate is mainly experienced today through its vineyard and history rather than as an interior visit.
