Burg Kendenich is a moated castle built on the slope of the Ville ridge, in the village of Kendenich, part of Hürth. The estate combines a three-winged outer bailey with a baroque 17th-century manor house, surrounded by its own moat and reached from the courtyard by a stone bridge with balustrades. The site's history goes back to a manorial estate first recorded in 941, though the buildings seen today mostly date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The grounds are privately owned and not open to visitors.
