Burg Fischenich stands in Hürth (Rhein-Erft-Kreis), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Fischenich Castle is a ruined medieval stronghold set against the slope of the Vorgebirge, in the Fischenich district of Hürth. Built by the lords of Fischenich, ministerial vassals of the Archbishop of Cologne, it passed through several noble Rhenish families before falling into disrepair. What remains, once an oval structure with four towers, is now largely enclosed by a square arrangement of houses. Visitors come less for a striking monument than for one of the oldest surviving fortification remains of the Vorgebirge between Cologne and Bonn.
