Le logis a été construit aux abords du castrum d'Andonne. Le fief est mentionné en 1487. Un hôtel a vraisemblablement été édifié à la fin du 15e siècle, ou au début du 16e siècle. Le logis se trouve au fond d'une cour fermée par des dépendances ordonnées dans un espace triangulaire. Le logis, de plan rectangulaire, est cantonné de deux tours sur l'élévation Est (ronde et crênelée au nord ; carrée au sud) et d'une tour carrée contenant l'escalier à vis, au centre de l'élévation ouest. Cette tour s'appuie sur une tour ronde en encorbellement sur huit tores. Deux tours rondes en partie arasées se trouvent au-delà d'un chemin. A l'intérieur du logis, des pièces conservent des cheminées monumentales médiévales, ainsi que des boiseries du 18e siècle.
