Château Mennechet stands in Chiry-Ourscamp (Oise), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

On the slope of the Mont Conseil, the ruins of the Château Mennechet recall an unfinished late 19th century project: a building designed as a gallery to display the art collection of a wealthy connoisseur from Saint-Quentin, Alphonse Mennechet de Barival. The surviving facade carries nearly a hundred ringed double columns beneath pediments decorated with chimeras and fleurs-de-lis, held together by stone interlocking alone, without mortar. Left unfinished when its patron died in 1903, the estate lost its tower and two adjoining manors, destroyed during the two world wars, and today remains a ruin overtaken by vegetation.
