Château Mont-Royal stands within a forest near La Chapelle-en-Serval in the Oise region, a few kilometres from Chantilly. Built between 1908 and 1911 by architect Guillaume Tronchet for composer Fernand Halphen, it follows a Louis XVI style combining hunting motifs on the façade with a musical theme inside, including a theatre modelled on the Opéra-Comique. The building was later converted into a luxury hotel, and its wooded grounds remain visible from the road.
