Siège d'une châtellenie et d'un prieuré relevant de l'abbaye Saint-Médard de Soissons, le château de Vic-sur-Aisne se compose d'un donjon du 13e siècle, remanié au 17e siècle, de douves sèches et d'une enceinte médiévale arasée, d'un corps de logis reconstruit à la fin du 16e siècle et au 17e siècle par les abbés commendataires de Saint-Médard, de communs de même époque, et d'un parc comprenant parterres à la française, statuaire de terre cuite du 17e siècle très dégradée, fabrique du 19e siècle et parc à l'anglaise. L'ensemble a été très endommagé au cours de la Première Guerre mondiale.
