Originating as a 12th-century manor enlarged in the 14th century, the building took on its present appearance during the Renaissance, when the Hamel de Bellinglise family had the façades rebuilt in red and black brick with white stone banding. One turret, once used as a seigneurial prison, recalls that its owners once held full judicial rights over the area. The estate now belongs to the Châteauform' group and is used as a corporate seminar venue.
