Dans son état actuel, le château semble être le dernier reste d'un château-fort du 12e siècle. Remanié au 15e siècle. Dans sa partie ancienne, l'édifice est constitué de deux tours, celle du nord contenant un escalier, celle du sud comprend des chambres dont l'une abrite une vaste cheminée. S'y ajoute un corps de bâtiment central à rez-de-chaussée et étage auquel l'accès se fait par une entrée voûtée en plein cintre. A l'étage, la salle est voûtée d'ogives. Au nord, une tourelle contenant un petit escalier et un autre corps de bâtiment accolé furent ajoutés au début du 20e siècle.
