The Château du Bost stands on the heights of Bellerive-sur-Allier, opposite Vichy, within a five-hectare park that includes a pond. Built from 1411 onwards, it passed through several noble families before serving as Pétain's summer residence in 1941. Purchased by the town in 1956, it later housed a retirement home for decades before being restored and reopened in 2013. Visitors can see its U-shaped layout, largely shaped by 19th-century alterations, and a 17th-century sideboard listed as a protected historic object.
