Château de Fontnoble stands in Biozat (Allier), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Biozat, in the Allier department, the Château de Fontnoble stands on the site of a medieval fortified house, of which a tower survives within the outbuildings. The present dwelling, a pleasure house built in the 18th century facing these older outbuildings, is notable for its curb roof and refined exterior woodwork. Inside, a panoramic wallpapered salon and a salon convertible into a chapel with stucco decoration have been preserved, while the surrounding park was reshaped in the English style around 1860.
