In Selles-sur-Cher, on the border between Berry and Touraine, this castle keeps a 13th-century tower, the remnant of a fortified complex raised in 1212 on a trapezoidal motte. The pavilions and gateway surrounding it today date from the early 17th century, when the estate belonged to the Béthune family. The visit takes place entirely on the ground floor, within a site ringed by moats fed by the Cher river.
