What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château se compose d'une cour presque carrée, entourée de douves sur trois côtés. Le pont-levis aboutit à une porte fortifiée, défendue par des mâchicoulis et une tourelle en encorbellement rajoutée au 15e siècle. En pénétrant dans la cour, sur la gauche, se trouvent les restes des constructions du 13e siècle, dont un rez-de-chaussée servant de grande salle à manger avec une cheminée conservant des traces de peinture. L'accès au premier étage se fait par un escalier contenu dans une tour. A droite de l'entrée, reliées par une galerie de bois aux bâtiments du 13e siècle, se trouvent les constructions plus importantes du 15e siècle, avec remaniements au 16e siècle.
