Ensemble hétérogène de bâtiments des 14e, 15e, fin 17e et 19e siècles élevés à flanc de montagne autour d'une cour intérieure selon un plan en U dont trois côtés sont occupés par le château, la chapelle et les communs et le quatrième côté est fermé par un mur de soutènement. Devant le château s'étendent des jardins en terrasse dont l'établissement sur ce terrain en pente a nécessité la construction de murs de soutènement. L'intérêt du château tient dans la coexistence de deux châteaux d'époque très différentes (14e-15e siècles, cantonné de trois tours, et fin 17e siècle, avec façade classique) plaqués l'un contre l'autre et formant un ensemble disparate accentué par les jeux de toitures. La chapelle est ornée de peintures murales. Les communs comprennent plusieurs corps de bâtiments formant de nombreux décrochements.
