Château du 13e siècle, bâti par les seigneurs de Bourbon. Après avoir traversé un pont en maçonnerie franchissant le fossé, on aboutit à la porte d'entrée actuellement ruinée, et à l'enceinte extérieure. Une seconde enceinte existait devant les deux tours Est. Trois tours principales flanquaient les fronts Est et Nord.
