Château de Mirabel stands in Riom (Puy-de-Dôme), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 17th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices were verified at the source on September 5, 2026.
Mirabel castle stands in Riom, visible from the road thanks to a landscaped park stretching some ninety metres, lined with groves of trees and closed off by a dry moat. Built at the very start of the 17th century, it was extended in depth during the late 18th century, giving it Louis XVI-style façades with much of their original woodwork still in place. The castle remains a private property, so viewing is limited to the exterior and the roadside approach.
