In Volvic, the Château de Bosredon displays an Italian-inspired architecture dating from the 18th century: pale façades marked by grey stone banding, a rooftop balustrade and a terrace overlooking a formal French garden. An inner courtyard preserves a carved tympanum from the 14th or 15th century, bearing a coat of arms, an older remnant built into the house. Since 1988 the estate has housed the Sahut museum, set within the building and its gardens with ponds and mythological statues.
