Château de Paulin stands in Paulinet (Tarn), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, 16th century, 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

Du 12e au 14e siècle, la seigneurie appartient aux vicomtes de Lautrec. Occupé par les Anglais en 1331, le château fut racheté en 1384. Le château est construit directement sur le rocher. Il comprend deux parties grossièrement perpendiculaires et assez mal reliées car les étages ne correspondent pas. L'aile ouest, la plus ancienne (15e-16e siècle) se termine par une tour. La porte, refaite au 18e siècle, ouvre sur un couloir. La partie occidentale de cette aile comporte, hormis la tour, des caves voûtées et un escalier dont un palier est couvert de voûtes d'ogives bombées. La partie droite a conservé, au premier étage, une cheminée gothique. Plusieurs canonnières sont aménagées dans la façade sud. Une canonnière est également visible dans une construction ruinée, au sud-ouest du château. L'aile sud a été reprise et presque entièrement reconstruite au 19e siècle.
