Château d'Estaing stands in Estaing (Aveyron), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, 16th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Standing on a promontory above the village of Estaing, where the Lot and Coussane rivers meet, this castle brings together buildings of varying heights arranged around a terrace, the result of construction campaigns spread across the 15th to 17th centuries. The barony is first recorded in 1028, and the residence was the birthplace of the d'Estaing family, several members of which left their mark on the military and religious history of the Rouergue region. Later used as a convent and then a boarding school through the 19th and 20th centuries, the building has a turbulent past, marked by revolutionary looting and successive changes of ownership.
