In the village of Coubisou, in the Aveyron department, the château de Cabrespines stands on the site of a medieval stronghold demolished in 1628. Rebuilt from 1643 onward using stones from the earlier fortress, it retains a tower, residential wings arranged around a trapezoidal courtyard, and a two-flight staircase. The ground floor features Louis XIII style wood panelling.
