What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château, daté de 1816, possède un pigeonnier porche assez typique, daté pour sa part de 1638. Le rez-de-chaussée forme le porche de la cour intérieure du château. Il comporte deux arcs plein cintre. Une porte pleine devait autrefois s'appuyer intérieurement sur un arc d'ouverture différente, bloquée par des barres. Meurtrières de chaque côté de la porte sud, et une autre du côté de l'est. L'étage unique est souligné par un larmier auquel a été ajouté, au 19e siècle, une bande de fer blanc, très lisse. Une échelle en bois permettait l'accès à la trappe.
