To make a day of it

Château de Lacaze stands in Lacaze (Tarn), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 17th century). Adult admission costs 3 EUR. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

In Lacaze, in the Tarn department, this 17th-century château carries a long history, first appearing in a sales document dating from 1415. The owners of the late 16th century rebuilt it extensively, before a fire caused damage during the following century. Visitors can see cellars partly cut into the bedrock, a tower on the south side, and the remains of a brick corner turret that no longer stands.
