What the French Ministry of Culture records

Petit édifice de plan carré qui commandait l'entrée du château. La façade sur le fossé, décorée de pilastres, possède deux portes voûtées en plein cintre. Ces portes étaient munies de pont-levis qui ont été supprimés et remplacés par un pont fixe. Du côté du fossé et du côté de la cour, les portes étaient défendues par des meurtrières. Au sommet des murs trois assises de corbeaux supportent un parapet qui a conservé les traces d'un ancien crénelage.
