What the French Ministry of Culture records

Un château-fort devait exister avant la construction Renaissance. Des vestiges en sont encore visibles autour de l'ancien moulin. Profondément remanié sous Napoléon III, le château remonte essentiellement aux 16e et 17e siècles. L'édifice se compose d'un avant-corps central, de deux ailes en retour, et d'un bâtiment de communs. Les transformations du 19e siècle ont fait disparaître les échauguettes d'angle et la tour "Clémence Isaure", remplacée par une chapelle. Les meneaux ont été retirés des fenêtres. Le mur à créneaux fermant la cour a été remplacé par une grille. A l'intérieur, un salon conserve ses papiers peints du milieu du 19e siècle, représentant les principaux monuments de Paris.
