What the French Ministry of Culture records

Les communs du château sont constitués de trois bâtiments en briques, disposés en U, délimitant une cour répondant à celle du château. Le pigeonnier, de la fin du 16e ou du début du 17e siècle, est bâti sur huit arcades en pleine pente, des socles rattrapant la dénivellation. De cet ouvrage ne subsistent que les arcades et la base du corps, la toiture s'étant écroulée en 1936 et la maçonnerie ayant en partie été démolie pour récupérer les matériaux. Dans le dénombrement du château d'Espanès en 1639 est attesté un moulin à vent banal. Du moulin, il subsiste la tour tronconique, haute d'environ 6 mètres, à un étage, en maçonnerie de brique avec traces d'enduit. Deux escaliers tournants, extérieurs, desservent le rez-de-chaussée surélevé, témoignant vraisemblablement de l'existence de deux coupes de meules.
