What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le nom de la propriété vient de l'installation d'une communauté de frères tailleurs originaire de Paris, en 1655. L'ensemble leur appartient jusqu'à la Révolution où il est vendu comme bien national. C'est une construction de briques, de plan carré. Une tour octogonale contenant l'escalier à vis se trouve accolée au mur sud-est. Un bâtiment récent est accolé sur cette façade latérale. La façade nord-est, dont l'accès se fait par la grande grille qui perce l'enceinte, s'ouvre par une porte du 17e siècle surmontée d'un fronton orné de balustres de style Louis XIII. Auprès de la maison, communs anciens en brique, et jardin potager entièrement clos.
