Schloss Leuzendorf stands at the edge of the village of Leuzendorf, part of the municipality of Burgpreppach in the Landkreis Haßberge, Bavaria. This modest country schloss, three storeys high under a mansard roof, has its origins in a sixteenth century Renaissance building later altered in the eighteenth century. A moat once surrounded the house, and its eastern portal still bears the combined coat of arms of the families who owned it over time. The current owners, the von Hugo family, carried out a careful restoration between 2004 and 2007.
