Schloss Laubach overlooks the small town of Laubach in Hesse and remains inhabited by the Counts of Solms-Laubach, who still manage the property. Its three wings, joined in a horseshoe shape, retain three of the original four defensive round towers, later capped with baroque domes. The building seen today is the result of successive alterations, from a medieval stronghold to a residence expanded during the 16th and 18th centuries.
