What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château mentionné en 1450 comme possession de Bertrand de Vassel. L'édifice se compose d'un bâtiment rectangulaire flanqué d'une tourelle d'escalier. S'il a été très modifié extérieurement, l'édifice conserve, à l'intérieur, quelques menuiseries d'époque Louis XIII, ainsi qu'un plafond à poutrelles apparentes de la même époque. La tourelle d'escalier date du 15e siècle. Sa porte d'entrée est ornée de crochets de pinacles et surmontée de trois niches à dais et culs-de-lampe. Les fenêtres de cet escalier ont des linteaux d'ornementation variée. En 1671, le château était entouré de fossés avec une basse cour.
