Château de Lignou stands in Lignou (Orne), in the Normandie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: fourth quarter of the 16th century, 19th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

The château de Lignou stands apart from the village, in the Orne countryside, its façades bearing the visible mark of two building campaigns separated by more than two centuries. Begun in 1592 by Jacques d'Harcourt, it was only completed in 1830 under Count Alexandre de Vaucelles, who had the missing pavilion built to balance the structure. Granite and sandstone bossed masonry can be seen at the base, along with two octagonal turrets flanking the courtyard façade. A difference in brick colour between the two wings still recalls this long interrupted construction.
