Château de La Pommeraye stands in La Pommeraye (Calvados), in the Normandie region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Built on a castle mound dating back to the 11th century, the Château de La Pommeraye stands in the valley of a tributary of the Orne river, in Normandy. The current building, dated to 1646, was substantially reworked in the 19th century by the Le Tellier de Vauville family, who gave it its Restoration-period character. It is laid out in a U-shape, flanked by Louis XIII-style pavilions and old farm buildings, and surrounded by a park with varied tree plantings, a French-style kitchen garden and a chapel blessed in 1876.
