What the French Ministry of Culture records

Construction prestigieuse de la fin du 16e ou du début du 17e siècle, presque totalement remaniée en 1694, au milieu d'un parc paysager ayant conservé ses anciennes avenues. L'intérieur a été très modifié sous le Second Empire, puis vers 1890 (seuls quelques éléments des 17e et 18e siècles subsistent : la charpente, la cheminée provenant de l'abbaye de Villers-Canivet, etc.). Le parc du 17e siècle (douves) et du 18e siècle (avenues) , a été transformé au début du 19e siècle en parc à l'anglaise, puis en 1890 (construction de la serre).
