Château de Le Mesnil-Germain stands in Le Mesnil-Germain (Calvados), in the Normandie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first half of the 17th century). Admission is free. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Le Mesnil-Germain, part of the commune of Livarot-Pays-d'Auge, stands a manor house built in the 18th century on the site of the former feudal residence of the local lords. Its central block dates from the reign of Louis XIII, later flanked by two wings added at different periods, one under Louis XIV and the other in 1830. An octagonal timber-framed dovecote, dating from the first half of the 17th century, is the only surviving element of the earlier manor. Set among a lake and gardens, the property is privately owned and not open to visitors.
