What the French Ministry of Culture records

Maison-forte médiévale ayant conservé sa silhouette primitive. Ce fief est connu début 1500. Edifice médiéval modifié au 17e siècle, décoré à la fin du 18e siècle (boiseries ; papier peint) , remanié en 1898. L'ensemble de toiles peintes, signées Moulianeuf, furent réalisées vers 1782 d'après les dessins de Coypel et illustrent le Don Quichotte de Cervantès. Le grand salon du premier étage est également orné de papiers peints marouflés sur toiles tendues sur châssis. Ce modèle, acheté en 1782 à la manufacture de Réveillon, est composé de 24 carrés formant lés, ornés de motifs inspirés des grotesques italiens revus par le 18e siècle français (angelots portant des bouquets de fleurs en papier, rinceaux, arabesques, naïades, médaillons, rubans en éventail). Un parc a été planté à l'anglaise à la fin du 19e siècle.
