Petite construction militaire remaniée aux 15e et 16e siècles mais qui doit avoir des origines plus anciennes. Cette maison forte a été édifiée après la guerre de Cent ans, contre les Anglais et Routiers qui ravagèrent la région. Le plan présente un corps de bâtiment carré flanqué d'une tour massive servant d'escalier, de protection et de guet, lui-même protégé aux angles par des bretèches avec mâchicoulis. Sont conservées autour du donjon et de la tourelle une série d'écheniguettes. Cet édifice est caractéristique des maisons fortes régionales des 15e et 16e siècles.
