What the French Ministry of Culture records

Construction du 15e siècle. Yves d'Allègre, maréchal de France en 1724, fit réparer et embellir le château féodal, en particulier à l'intérieur, ainsi que les jardins. Ces décors se composent de stucs, de bois peint, de cheminée en pierre et de pavement en carreaux de terre cuite. Un parc dessiné par Le Nôtre précède le château.
