What the French Ministry of Culture records
Château du début du 17e siècle, agrandi en 1812 (aile est, porte ouest, remises sud), entouré de diverses dépendances. L'édifice est précédé d'une cour d'honneur autour de laquelle s'articulent communs, chapelle (1720) et pigeonnier. Le château se compose d'un corps de logis quadrangulaire flanqué par des tourelles carrées coiffées de toits à l'impériale amortis par des lanternons polygonaux. Dans la tourelle nord, un escalier en vis est le vestige du logis primitif, peut-être du 16e siècle. La façade postérieure donne sur un jardin à la française en terrasse. Au nord s'étend un verger enclos de murs. Au nord de l'étang se trouve un pavillon en pans de bois, datant du 15e ou du 16e siècle. Type de gentilhommière du Bourbonnais.
