What the French Ministry of Culture records

Au château du 13e sicèle ont été ajoutées, sur les soubassements primitifs, les ailes ouest et nord, en conservant les tours. Les douves furent aménagées vers 1620. En 1736, ce qui avait été conservé du vieux château fut démoli et l'aile orientale fut construite, complétant le château tel qu'il est aujourd'hui. Dès 1730, trois ponts dormants franchissaient les douves et le pont-levis primitif avait été supprimé. Sous la Restauration, fut ajouté à la façade sud, l'avant-corps central avec son balcon à balustres soutenu par quatare colonnes, et le fronton triangulaire qui le domine.
