Le fief du Breuil existe dans les textes à partir de 1508. Le domaine est un ensemble composé de deux cours carrées en enfilade sur un axe est-ouest. Le logis de plan en U, daté du 17e siècle, est orienté nord-sud. La construction de l'aile ouest, au 19e siècle, a permis de régulariser la composition. L'ensemble très cohérent, possède un aspect harmonieux. Les travaux du 19e siècle, loin de le dénaturer, ont contribué à l'équilibre de la composition.
