What the French Ministry of Culture records

Construction de la fin du 17e siècle ou du début du 18e. Le corps de logis est appuyé, dans son prolongement, par deux pavillons carrés plus bas. Une toiture basse souligne l'aspect écrasé de ce logis, dans la tradition charentaise et saintongeaise. Les deux portes d'entrée sont sculptées (pilastres, corniches...) et surmontées d'une balustrade avec cadran solaire côté cour. A l'intérieur, un couloir a été ajouté pour distribuer des pièces qui, autrefois, se trouvaient en enfilade. Dans le jardin se trouve un puits couvert d'un dôme de pierre.
